La decisión de casarse es la más importante y trascendental que hay que tomar en la vida, no solo por uno mismo, si no por la familia que se va a formar. La Conferencia Episcopal Española con este Tema 10: Vocación al matrimonio, quiere ayudar a tener un entendimiento más profundo del paso que se da al contraer matrimonio, de como hay que implicar al cuerpo y al alma a través de la voluntad y de un conocimiento profundo del ser amado.
¿Qué tiempo se necesita?¿Cómo nos podemos preparar? No tiene sentido si no hemos empezado bien; Lo primero de todo es pedir la vocación al matrimonio, efectivamente, es una vocación, es un regalo que está por encima de nuestra capacidad humana, Dios es quien inscribe en la humanidad del hombre y de la mujer la vocación, nuestra voluntad nos ayudará a mantenerla, trabajarla y merecerla, ya que a través de ella nos podemos salvar e incluso santificar, cuando somos conscientes de la importancia del paso que vamos a dar, podemos empezar a construir nuestro proyecto matrimonial, nuestra futura familia y nuestra salvación.
La unión entre un hombre y una mujer es lo que más se asemeja a la imagen de Dios.
Es sobradamente conocida la frase del Génesis en la que se nos asemeja a Dios. Concretamente el versículo del Génesis que hace referencia a este tema, nos dice: «Creó, pues, Dios al ser humano a imagen suya, a imagen de Dios le creó, macho y hembra los creó”. (Gn 2,26-27).
Por tanto, Dios ha creado al hombre a su imagen y semejanza: Llamándolo a la existencia por amor.
La Conferencia Episcopal Española, comenta: “Con este tema pretendemos que los novios conozcan realmente qué es el amor conyugal, cuál es su fuente y qué características tiene. También se pretende que conozcan los requisitos para contraer un matrimonio cristiano, que sepan a qué se comprometen al casarse y qué bienes produce el matrimonio.”
Como ya he dicho Dios inscribe en la humanidad del hombre y de la mujer la vocación y consiguientemente la capacidad y la responsabilidad del amor y de la comunión: Entendida como “un solo cuerpo y una sola alma”. El amor es por tanto la vocación fundamental e innata de todo ser humano.
“La sexualidad, mediante la cual el hombre y la mujer se dan uno a otro con los actos propios y exclusivos de los esposos, no es algo puramente biológico, si no que afecta al núcleo íntimo de la persona humana en cuanto ser, es decir, queda una marca indeleble en su alma. Hacer el amor es decirse «te quiero a ti para siempre», por eso hacer el amor físico, es mentir, si no eres capaz de mantenerlo, solamente es parte integral del hombre y de la mujer cuando se comprometen totalmente entre sí hasta la muerte y ante Dios. “La donación física total sería un engaño si no fuese signo y fruto de una donación en la que está presente toda la persona, incluso en su dimensión temporal; si la persona se reservase algo o la posibilidad de decidir de otra manera en orden al futuro, ya no se donaría totalmente”.
El amor se construye mediante actos de amor, apoyándonos en la voluntad. Conseguid con vuestro amor ser la razón por la que crean en la bondad de Dios.
